Center of the American Experiment raised 63 times more from grassroots donors (under $200) in 2024 than the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party (DFL). Why does that matter today? Because the DFL issued a press release yesterday calling American Experiment “a right-wing propaganda and lobbying machine with ties to Charles Koch and many billionaires around the country.” If only that were true!

- The State DFL Party raised $6,000 from donors who gave less than $200 in 2024.
- American Experiment is 63 times as much a grass roots organization as the DFL Party.
Including the $6,000 in grassroots donations, the DFL raised $10.5 million in 2024, directly and indirectly from millionaires and billionaires from around the country. The list includes, but is not limited to: Alida Messinger–Rockefeller, George Soros, Vance Opperman, J.B. Pritzker, Gideon Friedman, Barry Munger, Quinn Delaney, Gideon Friedman, Susan Mandel, Lisa Mennett, Sarah O’Niell and Eric Schmidt.
With over 10,000 donors so far in 2025, American Experiment continues to be the largest grassroots organization in the state. That being said, we remain open to receiving any donations, large or small, from Charles Koch or any other “billionaires from around the country.”
