Yesterday, I wrote about the wave pf property tax hikes sweeping across Minnesota. It will be cold comfort to know that our state is not alone in this. At a recent town hall meeting in Cranford, New Jersey, local resident Will Thilly felt moved to protest about local property taxes.
The United States was founded with a revolt against taxes and, perhaps, one day Thilly will be venerated like those who dumped tea into Boston harbor. I will be lobbying hard for him to be our next annual dinner speaker.
