Center of the American Experiment announced today the hiring of Josiah Padley as a policy fellow covering education. Padley joins an already-robust education policy team that includes nationally renowned writer Katherine Kersten and experienced state education policy expert Catrin Wigfall. As Minnesota’s largest and most impactful conservative organization, American Experiment now houses two economists, three policy fellows in education, two policy fellows in energy and one each in health care and public safety.
Josiah Hadley studied classics, great texts, and history as a University Scholar at Baylor University. After graduation, she worked with the Hertog Institute as a Political Studies Fellow and a Humanities at Hertog program facilitator. Before joining American Experiment, she spent two years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she taught Attic Greek, Latin, and ancient history.
“American Experiment has a long history of public policy leadership in education, and I’m pleased to bolster our team with an additional policy fellow,” said John Hinderaker, president of Center of the American Experiment. “After a national search, we welcome Josiah Padley and expect great things from her and our entire education team.”
Josiah lives with her husband in Minneapolis.
