In recent days it was reported that the Hampton Inn in Lakeville, Minnesota had cancelled the reservations of several Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents who had planned to stay there as part of Operation Metro Surge.
DHS posted an email from the Lakeville Hampton Inn, informing the agents that “we are not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property.”

The Hilton Corporation, which owns the Hampton Inn name, stepped in to correct the poor policy decision by the local Hampton Inn franchise owners. However, despite being told that the local owners would correct the problem and allow agents to stay, the management continued to refuse to do business with DHS as recent at last evening. Hilton then took decisive action to immediately remove the Lakeville Hampton Inn from the Hilton systems.

It appears that the work of an on line reporter, Nick Sorter, was the impetus for Hilton to separate the Lakeville franchise from the Hilton name. Sorter uses the X platform to investigate stories the legacy media fails to follow up on.
The DHS has surged resources into the twin cities over the past month as it has ramped up enforcement activity around illegal aliens who have not yet self deported, and to investigate on-going fraud that has been uncovered involving numerous programs in Minnesota which were set up to defraud billions of dollars from Medicaid and other federal safety net programs.
In recent days it has been reported that another 2,000 agents are coming to the twin cities to assist with this surge. Those agents deserve to be respected and accommodated without discrimination – and without the harassment of activists who have organized to interfere and obstruct ICE’s mission.
The Hilton Corporation quickly and decisively separated itself from the poor decisions of the local former Hampton Inn ownership group. That group, identified in reporting as four East Indian partners from Owatonna operating as Everpeak Hospitality, will be paying a significant financial price by losing their corporate support and namesake. And rightfully so.
It’s time to pick a side – the USA or our adversaries. The DHS agents in Minnesota as part of Operation Metro Surge are here on a legitimate and important mission – a mission to correct the failures of national and state leaders who supported open border policies and the multitude of problems that were thrust upon us.
