USA v. Miranda

Alexio Antonio Miranda appeared in federal court in downtown St. Paul this afternoon, charged in connection with the January 14 theft of guns and ammo from an FBI vehicle during an anti-ICE riot in Minneapolis. Stolen from the FBI were an M-16 rifle, a Glock pistol, and other valuable items.

Miranda, age 32, was allegedly working with Minnesota Man Raul Gutierrez, who was charged in the same incident last Friday.

The federal complaint filed against Miranda claims that Miranda can be seen on video wielding a hatchet to break into the car’s trunk. The complaint alleges that it was Miranda who left the scene with the rifle. He apparently later dumped the rifle in a dumpster behind his apartment building.
