Fourth time’s the charm. In his fourth attempt, Feeding Our Future defendant No. 64, Suleman Yusuf Mohamed, became (coincidentally) the 64th person convicted the sprawling free-food scandal.
The three previous attempts failed as Mr. Mohamed failed pre-hearing drug tests. From court records,

After strike three, Mohamed was sent the federal lockup at the Sherburne County jail until matters cleared up.

Mohamed was indicted back in January 2024 along with some siblings and other family members related to his sister, Ikram Mohamed. All but one of this seven-member group has now pled guilty.
Their brother, Gandi Yusuf Mohamed, is scheduled to stand trial beginning April 20.
