One of its latest targets is the 340B Drug Pricing Program, a little-known federal initiative that has warped the prescription drug market.
Created in 1992, 340B requires drug manufacturers to sell outpatient medicines at steep discounts to certain hospitals and clinics that serve low-income and uninsured patients.
