Edina police investigating shots fired near Our Lady of Grace church.

Gunshots were fired near an Edina church on Tuesday night and police are asking anyone with information or surveillance video to contact them.
Officers responded to the 5000 block of Eden Avenue at around 8 p.m. after reports of gunfire in the area.
For those not familiar with the geography of Edina, OLG sits alongside Highway 100, directly across the freeway from Edina City Hall and the city’s police station.
As the saying goes, once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, and three times is enemy action. These coincidences keep happening to the good burghers of Edina, but no pattern is allowed to emerge.
