8 USC Section 1326

Eduardo Solis-Perez, age 32, of Mexico, pled guilty yesterday in federal court in downtown St. Paul to one count of illegal re-entry of a previously deported illegal alien. He pled guilty to a felony crime and under the terms of his plea agreement he is expected to serve around three years in federal prison. After his prison sentence, he will be deported, again.

Solis took Minnesota Man of the Day honors back on August 27 on account of his backstory: caught up in an underage prostitution sting conducted by Bloomington city police.

His plea agreement notes three previous deportations and two previous felony convictions for illegal re-entry and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sentencing will occur at a later date. At his sentencing, the underage prostitution charge will be dropped.
