Federal observers spotted at Minneapolis polling place.

A KARE 11 crew spotted two federal monitors outside Powderhorn Recreation Center Tuesday afternoon. The federal observers were only there for a few minutes and asked a couple of people how the process went.

Regardless, there probably wasn’t a lot for the Feds to see at the Rec. Center’s Ward 9, Precinct 2 polling place. The surrounding south Minneapolis neighborhood is a progressive stronghold. According to the final results from last night, nearly all the ballots were cast for Democrats, and those ballots favored the most left-wing candidates. Sitting U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, now running for Governor, fared the worst in Powderhorn Park among Democratic candidates in major races. Klobuchar’s opponent, Kobey Layne, received more than 23 percent of the precinct’s vote for governor, more than doubling up the 11 percent U.S. Rep. Angie Craig received in her contest against current Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan for U.S. Senate.
The real vulnerability in the voting system lies elsewhere. Like many states, Minnesota uses the state equivalent of the DMV to automatically register voters as they renew their drivers license or state ID. Unlike many states, Minnesota allows illegal aliens (and legal aliens) to get licenses/ID cards, which do not display their noncitizen status.

The department says they found there were missing documents during a manual review of 103,896 individual records on Tuesday. The manual review involved Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) employees looking at the files and images of documents submitted with the application to confirm they were classified correctly in the system.
That works out to a 1 percent error rate. Need I remind readers that state attorney general Keith Ellison won his 2022 re-elecition bid by a margin well under 1 percent (20,000 votes out of 2.5 million cast)?
For his part, Secretary of State Steve Simon has refused to provide the state’s voter rolls to the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS). The goal here is for DHS,
to create a list all U.S. citizens who are able to vote and for the U.S. Postal Service to only send mail-in ballots to verified voters.
Why would Sec. Simon oppose this goal? He has an obvious conflict of interest here. Simon himself is on the ballot this year (2026), and the goal of the voter list is to prevent ineligible noncitizens to vote. If ineligible voters are prevented from voting this year, Simon may lose.
We know for a fact that there are noncitizens registered to vote in Minnesota. We know this for a fact because Sec. Simon himself has told us so. From the local CBS affiliate, back in March,

The headline wants you to believe that there is no problem here. The headline itself is a flat-out lie. The study cited, conducted by a local college, examined only criminal prosecutions of illegal voting during a ten-year time period. The number of noncitizens who actually voted is unknown and perhaps unknowable. But we know for certain that the number was not zero. The state’s nation-leading lax election laws guarantee this resuilt.
Local CBS quotes Simon,
We want it to be zero. I do, and everyone watching does, but that is really, really good.
The odds that we have caught every single instance of this occurring is zero.
